Among the puppets Myanmar Puppets are unique and high quality puppets. The Myanmar puppets are distinctive in dress, style and the intricacy of manipulating them. The dolls usually have 20 strings, but some have as many as 60, giving the puppeteers room to emulate uncanny dance movements. Basic characters were primarily counted as 18 characters in a band. In 1776 AD, the number of characters in a band increased to 28 characters. The changes were:
